From Apr 1 to 6, SIP welcomed a surge of visitors during the spring break coincided with the Qingming Festival holiday.

The Jinji Lake Peach Flower Cultural Festival on Taohua Island in Jinji Lake, featuring blooming peach flowers, art installations, water sports and interactive activities for families, became a major attraction.

The parks around Jinji, Dushu and Yangcheng lakes are full of people enjoying spring outings.

The cycling track around Yangcheng Lake drew lots of people, while the lakeside camping site offered a relaxing escape.

The learning tours provided youngsters with opportunities to acquire knowledge in interesting ways, such as observing entire process of automated milk production in a factory in Suzhou Yili Industrial Park and exploring intelligent vehicle manufacturing at Higer Bus Company Limited.

Other attractions included theme markets, pet activities, performances, special discounts offered by shopping malls, the Caoxieshan Spring Party at the Archaeological Site Park of Caoxieshan, and the kite festival at Suzhou Yangcheng Peninsula Theme Park.

Moreover, art museums and galleries across SIP offered diverse categories of exhibitions, and many hotels and restaurants offered delicious food cooked with seasonal ingredients.
