The Carefree Kite Festival is going on at Suzhou Yangcheng Peninsula Theme Park, SIP, and will last till Apr 30.

Centered on Cao’s Kite, a national intangible cultural heritage item, an exhibition is underway, showcasing about 100 classic kites. Moreover, Miao Bogang, an inheritor of the traditional handicraft of making Cao’s Kite, gives visitors introductions to the craft and its cultural background on site.

Other highlights include performances, interactions with NPCs (non-player characters), fireworks shows, and float parades.
